Joaquin.the.Rapper documentary

Joaquin Phoenix finally gives away what the hell he was doing trying to rap and looking like he was on lsd the whole time.
Almost 2 years after started being a weirdo he comes out with what everybody kinda knew already, a documentary directed by Casey Affleck. “I’m still here” comes out September 10th and still nobody knows what its about.
I don’t know about you, but I’m interested to know what all that HUGE marketing around him and his personal life will bring.

Sexy CPR

This should be the only way to give CPR!!
Fortnight Lingerie came out with this video not too long ago to get men (and women) to learn once and for all how to give CPR correctly.
The video is awesome and its starting to go viral, but they lacked on expanding the idea with a cool/interesting microsite or even the brands original site.
Guys will digg, girls should appreciate too! (video embedded below)

Exit Your Computer and Get to the Theater!

Yesterday I hopped on The Langster and rode down to the movie theater where I saw Exit Through The Gift Shop. I must admit I didn’t pre-watch anything about this documentary. I just knew it was about Banksy. Everyone knows Banksy and if you happen to not be everyone, google him immediately and become everyone. You will laugh, you will be confused, you will laugh some more and you will leave with the thought, “Wait, who is this guy again?”  and “SNAP! I want to escape the cops and make …

Stella Artois “Up There”

Mother came out with this great idea for Stella to use the whole side of a building as a blank canvas like it was done when computers weren’t used for advertising…
I have appreciation for stuff made by hands, not that I am a crafty person, just because it takes a lot more time, patience and a whole lot of love to make something look this good!
This 13 minutes short-film shows the the work behind and the creation of this awesome piece that took 21 days to be done and also tells …

J.T.Lake + Audi

After not posting anything for a while, I’m back and settled in another city – Chicago I love you!!
Anyways, if you like cars like me you might like the new Audi A1 – “The next big thing” as they call – that is coming out and actually looks pretty cool.
J.T.Lake (I guess they can’t use Justin Bieber just yet) is the chosen brand ambassador, and they are coming out with a internet campaign that made me think about the BMW celebrity spots a few years ago…
The 6 episodes online series will come out next …

Last Agency on Earth

We all know very well the path advertising is taking but FITC came out a few days ago with this pretty funny video about what happened with the agency that didn’t realize that online media is the future. Meet mps+c, the last ad agency on earth.

Sign Language

You think people holding signs and handing out papers on the street are annoying, or in the middle of your way, and oh how they suck. Damn advertisers! Well, I found this really short that might make you think otherwise. And hopefully make your Tuesday a little more bearable. If you like it, vote for it. It’s participating in some sort of contest in UK.
Enjoy!  (Click on the pic to see the video)

Ghostwriter Cubana

The most interesting conversation I was involved in this week was about a writer known as Yoani Sanchez. Recently I learned about Yoani Sanchez and the blog Generation Y from listening in on a lecture given by Jauretsi Saizarbitoria, a Cuban American Filmmaker / DJ who had completed a documentary about Cuba called East of Havana. For those of you who were not aware of Yoani Sanchez  I highly recommend hearing her story. It is quite fascinating the extent she had to go through to get her blog posts out …

More Awesome Drifting/Editing/Awesomeness

If you follow my section of this blog at all,  you know I have an affinity for fast cars going sideways and videos capturing said cars going sideways.
The editing in this video is amazing. It’s incredibly subtle, but the method in which the sequences are arranged leave a lasting impression. True to the name “Keep Drifting Fun”, this video expresses genuine optimism and good times. I have been geeking out especially hard on editing lately and have become hypersensitive to how things are constructed. This video is an example of …
