I recently went to a little lecture about iphone apps. While I’m still on the fence about the profitability of apps (me personally making a profit) I definitely am a firm believer that they are becoming part of the marketing mix. Our clients should have apps. They don’t have to make money from them but they will create happier customers because of them. I use a Mac. You use a Mac. I go to the Apple Store. You go to the Apple Store. I take Public Transit. Some of you probably take Public transit. What if Apple bought a train station? It would be the coolest train station EVER! Apple is about to do just that.
Apparently $4 million gets you naming rights of a popular train station in Chicago, exclusive access to the advertising space and some say in the renovation that take place in the new station. Why? Why would Apple do …

This week I am in a motivational conference. One of the topics that we are working on is public speaking and how to engage your audience. We see presentations everyday, some make you sleepy, some make you think, and some make you act.
Being spanish, my mother tongue is an everyday challenge for me to communicate my ideas. I am working on mastering my presentation skills because usually is the difference between selling or not selling an idea, no matter if it is a great idea if you don’t engage …
