Be Nice

I wrote a limerick to start this post. It’s kinda amazing. Check it out:
There once was a writer from the city,
who was talented but acted quite shitty
he was so very cocky, no one wanted his copy.
What an ass. What a waste. What a pity.
Lesson: Don’t be a jerk to people unless you’re sure you’ll never need those bridges you’re burning. And even if you are sure, you never know what the future holds… some lowly hack right now may end up being an ECD at your dream agency and they …

Exploring Other Markets

I just spent the last week exploring the New York City Ad market. Since I’m working the freelance market and looking for full time, a trip to the other side of the country seemed like a good plan of a attack.

Technicalities, technicalities. Lol.

There are several aspects of improv that actually carry over into advertising and vice versa like coming up ideas quickly, making people …

Blog on a Blog

My friend Michael just started this blog: http://additionaldrawings.wordpress.com/
He’s a writer here, but also a crazy person who makes these awesome illustrations. The picture is one of me. (Nice.)
I would describe him as a little scary, a little nasty, a little funny and a little disoriented. All together – He’s a lotta brilliant! So check out a few of his sketches. He’s been adding new ones every other day or so, so if you like them, check back and see what’s new.
I’ve learned two things maybe more, I’m not sure) from …
