Something that probably already exists

Random question: Is there a site that connects art directors and writers? Or a place where people can post their portfolios/look at other people’s work?
Or somewhere all creatives can go to post ideas/join projects? Like a section of craigslist where creatives who want to work together with someone on a project can meet. Doesn’t have to just be ad projects just something cool that requires more than one person to complete it. So people can post ideas here and see if they get responses, or go here to find …

Missed Connections become Reality

Found this blog the other day from Illustrator Sophie Blackall of Brooklyn, NY. I know it is not the first execution of art derived from craigslist, but it is still pretty cool. As many of you I sometimes get stumped.  After twiddling my way through all the copies of CA and Archive on my desk, checking Facebook a billion times in 3 minutes and perusing some job postings on that list of craig’s I need somewhere to go.

It’s at times like these where I have learned the value of solid randomized internet research. ALWAYS click on links, you never know where they will take you!
Here are some go to sites I highly suggest bookmarking that once upon a time I stumbled onto:
