These paper works by Bianca Chang kill me.
They are beautiful.
This video shows some of the builds in stop-motion and it’s a great way to appreciate the time and attention it takes to create work this impressive.
Amazing.

Color is one of those things you can never stop learning about or experimenting with. I had an amazing teacher that beat color theory into me and as a result I have a deep appreciation for it.
You’ve probably already seen this guy’s work. It seems like he has stuff everywhere right now, and a quick glance at his site confirms that notion.
His stuff is awesome, incredible, wonderful, astonishing, staggering, spectacular, etc. But don’t just listen to my thesaurus.

I usually spend most of my free time researching designers and new ways to make the work stand out. I’ve seen this girls work all over the place but never took the time to go to her website and really dig thru her stuff, I gotta say its pretty amazing.
If you watch this Saul Bass video, he talks about work making money v.s. quality of work…
I’m sure this girl is on Saul Bass’ side of the fence. You gotta appreciate beautiful work.

I bought a used car yesterday, and it’s a 2005 Honda Element. (Gasp) “But you work in Detroit, don’t you? You work for Chevy don’t you?!?!?” Yes and yes. “But how could you?” Two reasons. Because I’m not a frightened slave who does what he thinks he’s supposed to, and because I live in America, where I can buy whatever the hell I want with my money. When it comes to the auto industry, (and the way people think about a car purchase) Detroit really exists in it’s own universe. …

I drove home tonight thinking about how I need to get better at time management.
Take this blog for instance. I turn my posts in on Monday night, and I am writing this on Monday night. San Diego just kicked a field goal to make it 23-17, (which by the time I am done writing this will have proved useless).
But I was in my car thinking about how I need to get better at managing my time, and because I have no idea how to do that, my mind jumped forward …

I’m sitting here drinking the champagne of beers, watching Minnesota and Green Bay beat the crap out of one another, trying to decide what to write about, wondering why I write so many run-on sentences, and considering what my immediate food options are.
And since this game is maintaining a steady pace of fun, I am going to phone this one in.
This is a no brainer, and I was planning on busting this guy’s work out like a Timbaland beat, when work choked me into a coma.
But whatever.
Andy Sapp is one …
