So the other day someone passed this link off to me:

Hey agencies wake up…..Steve Jobs is kind of a big deal and is probably not going to fold on this no Flash thing. Considering everyone and their mom has an iPhone and it is the creatives phone of choice maybe its time to switch back to faster loading HTML based sites?

To show everybody how fast Google’s browser is, they came out with a film comparing the speed of real things to how fast their app loads. I’ve been using Chrome on my personal computer but the agency’s computer doesn’t have it, so I gotta say that you can feel the difference….It really does make a difference.
The really fun video can be watched below:

After not posting anything for a while, I’m back and settled in another city – Chicago I love you!!
Anyways, if you like cars like me you might like the new Audi A1 – “The next big thing” as they call – that is coming out and actually looks pretty cool.
J.T.Lake (I guess they can’t use Justin Bieber just yet) is the chosen brand ambassador, and they are coming out with a internet campaign that made me think about the BMW celebrity spots a few years ago…
The 6 episodes online series will come out next …

Last week I tweeted about getting an augmented reality tattoo and what it would be of. Swimming dolphin? Growing rose? Heart with MOM written on it pulsating? Seriously people are doing this. At first glance of AR last summer I thought it was pretty sick. (That GE moving windmill.) Then I saw some LAME John Mayer video with it and dismissed the technology as being NOT that cool. Who wants to hold something up to their webcam, blocking your line of sight, for 5 minutes to see and hear Mr. …

If I had endless amounts of free time I would probably drink more and take multiple bathes everyday… but, I like imagining that I would use that time to learn a second language and to find the perfect xmas gifts for all of my friends and family. But I can just never get my shit together. Im always the idiot at the mall on christmas eve – freaking out and wrapping the shittiest gifts ever. But, last week I stumbled upon my very own christmas miracle. It doesn’t get any …

The funniest website in the world. Seriously.
http://dontevenreply.com/
This site has been making the rounds lately and honestly I wish I had come up with it. The idea itself is brilliant. It’s “a collection of e-mails [he’s] have sent to people who post classified ads. [His] goal is to mess with them, confuse them, and/or piss them off.” And he sure does. Be prepared to laugh your ass off. Warning: spit out your gum/food. I would hate to have someone choke and die from my first post.
Here’s a couple you should check …

As I write this, I’m deep in the backwoods of Northern Minnesota, about 60 miles Northwest of Duluth. I’m visiting the family I haven’t seen in over a year. Compared to the urban blight of Detroit, this is like another planet. It’s beautiful, but also desolate as hell. I’m positive I’d get cabin fever & pull a Jack Torrance if I had to spend an entire winter here. But even though this area in many ways is behind the times, it’s also a reminder of a simpler existence that all …

Sometimes my brain hits a complete dead end (usually when there’s a deadline involved). At these times I usually try to restart it by finding something interesting, beautiful, new… whatever on the big series of tubes. My first stop is almost always http://www.booooooom.com/ but once I get through a couple pages there, I start to get a little depressed about how many talented people there are in the world and how so many of them don’t get the recognition they deserve and so I switch things up and go to …

This week I couldn’t pick one thing to write about because I found a few things that are noteworthy. So I would like to go ahead and share them all.

Last week I ended up going to this site www.chicagoansforrio.com I can’t remember how I found it but I immediately shared it with fellow coworkers and posted it on facebook. It’s worth a chuckle and the logo is hilarious. Chicagoans relate to it the most because of the constant Olympic bid buzz that has been buzzing for what seems like years now and has been amplified this week. I mean, I will be at the announcement party tomorrow morning.
This week it was uncovered that an Agency Ad man, Kevin Lynch, …
