Guide to the 2011 Super Bowl

4 February 2011 No Comment

Alright folks, it’s that time of the year. Time to stuff your fat gullets full of pizza, beer and an unfortunate amount of chicken wings. Time to sit around the TV with people that you know, barely know or might even completely despise. That time where corporations vie for your attention just as hard as the two teams slugging it out on the gridiron. That’s right. Super Bowl time.

Well if you aren’t sick of all the Super Bowl hype and coverage like we are in Dallas, I’ve compiled several ways for you to keep up with the commercials, the chatter and the nonsense that surrounds the big game.

If you work in advertising, you’ll probably have to stand around the entire next day – hell, even the whole next week talking about which commercial you thought was the best or which brand expressed the benefits of their product the best and blah blah. Here’s a preview of some of the spots you might see. If your asshole friends will shut up during commercial breaks that is.

Here’s a list off all the brands that have spots running during the Super Bowl.

For keeping track of all the commercials after they air and the next day, check out:

If you’re on Twitter, which you should be unless you are 55 or above, here’s a way to keep track of the chatter for each team.

And for all you iPad-having folks, here’s a free download of the official game program.
